The Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) is recruiting for one, Permanent, Full-time Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) - Software Application Developer position within the Information Technology Services Division. This position is to be located in the Sacramento office. This recruitment may be used to fill subsequent vacancies of these positions within the next 180 days.
Under direction of the Application Development Unit Maintenance and Operations Information Technology Manager I , the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) is responsible for solution development, process automation, maintenance, and support of products and systems in Production. The primary duties for this position lie within the Software Engineering and System Engineering domains of the IT Specialist I classification.
The ITS I serves in a lead capacity on small to medium-scale enhancements and as a senior developer on large-scale projects. This position collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) and team members to utilize the low-code/no-code ServiceNow platform to automate service management workflows and DOCQNET Application built on Microsoft CRM Platform, develop and enhance applications for new business service offerings, and seamlessly integrate data/services with cloud-based applications.
