Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking three skilled CNC Machinists for the second shift to engage in a comprehensive machining role that covers the entire process from start to finish. The machinists will be tasked with reading work orders and blueprints, starting up machines, performing tool changes, adjusting programs, and ensuring the production of quality parts. You will utilize precision measuring instruments to maintain quality control and will have the opportunity to work with advanced equipment such as HAAS mills, Swiss lathes, and various 3 and 4-axis CNC mills and lathes. This role involves both low and high-volume production machining.

Responsibilities

  • Operate multi-axis CNC equipment and read blueprints.
  • Use basic machining gauges and understand standard machining terminology and principles.
  • Set up machines and follow a defined process to produce quality products.
  • Perform tool changes and demonstrate good judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.

Essential Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in CNC setups, tool changes, and operation.
  • Proficiency in CNC machining, blueprint reading, and using precision measuring tools.
  • Ability to operate multi-axis CNC equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience is a plus.
  • CNC programming and editing experience is advantageous.
  • Must demonstrate good judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.

Our facility, founded in 1901, specializes in designing and manufacturing pneumatic and fluid control valves, valve systems, and customized products for various industries. The climate-controlled environment houses all departments, including machining, quality, engineering, assembly, and shipping/receiving, under one roof. The workspace is well-lit, clean, and fosters a friendly atmosphere, complemented by a comfortable break room with fresh food options. Shift hours are from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday-Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays, offering some flexibility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52569.48 - $67610.40/yr.
