Job Title: Warehouse Assembler

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Assembler, where you will play a vital role in the production process by assembling sub-components and finished products. This role demands precision and teamwork, as you'll work alongside a partner to achieve daily production goals. Your expertise with hand and power tools will be essential as you contribute to the fast-paced environment, building heat exchangers and ensuring product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble sub-components and finished products using basic product and process knowledge.
  • Fit metal products using hand tools and power tools.
  • Operate hand and power tools, as well as an overhead crane, to build units.
  • Lift 60lbs+ to fit products together.
  • Work as a team to fulfill daily product orders.
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for extended periods.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to review assembly diagrams to determine parts and quantities needed.
  • Proficiency in operating an overhead crane.
  • Understanding of assembly schematics and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required upon conversion to permanent status.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently).
  • Comfortable with regular walking, sitting, and reaching for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean, organized, and large manufacturing floor with clearly labeled sections based on materials and production. Second Shift runs from 2:30PM to 11PM, with potential overtime until 12AM. The facility promotes a neat and efficient workspace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.75/hr.
