Job Title: Test Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics, calibrating test instruments, and analyzing test results. This role involves documenting findings and creating reports on non-conforming products.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Calibrate test instruments and interpret documents such as test standards, inspection, and test procedures.
• Analyze test results on defective units, document findings, and create reports on non-conforming products.
• Test functional performance of circuit breakers using electrical and mechanical functions.
• Perform high voltage testing and visual and dimensional inspections.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and testing.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production teams to resolve testing issues.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Experience in calibrating test instruments.
• Ability to analyze test results and document findings.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and assembly.
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting and testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with test functional performance of circuit breakers.
• Knowledge of high voltage testing and visual inspections.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and technicians.

Work Environment

Work in a large, clean, and well-lit manufacturing facility that is climate-controlled. Opportunities are available across three shifts: 1st shift (6am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm), and 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am). Candidates will train on daylight hours initially. A $2 shift differential is offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Charleroi, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $63440.00/yr.
