A large service and repair shop specializing in compressors and valves for refineries is seeking a skilled manual machinist. The role involves crafting parts for compressors, valves, and various types of rotating equipment for our clients using mills and lathes, including Willis, Bridgeport, LeBland, Bullard, and Kingston machines.

Work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art shop located in Houston, TX, featuring air conditioning and an organized setup. Collaborate with a diverse team of manual machinists, CNC machinists, mechanics, material handlers, and quality control staff. The work environment promotes teamwork, discouraging lone wolf behavior. Adhere to a dress code including steel toes, jeans, work shirts, and safety glasses. Standard hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of extended hours and Saturday shifts during busy periods.
This is a Permanent position based out of Houston, Texas.
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
Bonus is up to 6%, but depends on profits.
Will get $100 gas cards randomly.
Pay reviews every January to increase pay rate.
Year end bonus of up to 6% based on company performance
Willing to do sign on bonus if it makes sense
