Job Title: Material Handler II

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for managing all finished goods within the facility, ensuring they are shipped accurately and timely. This role involves conducting inventory checks to verify stock levels and utilizing tools such as forklifts and pallet jacks to transport products. The candidate will also use computers to monitor inventory levels, perform extensive walking, package products for shipment, and operate pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

  • Experience as a warehouse machine operator.
  • Proficiency in packaging, labeling, and handling materials.
  • Forklift operation skills.
  • Experience with inventory management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with forklifts and computer skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse, pick and pack environment.
  • Plastics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and controlled, within a manufacturing setting. The role involves lifting boxes weighing between 1 to 35 pounds throughout the day, and occasionally taking boxes up an industrial ladder for storage in the warehouse.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
