Job Title: CNC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with expertise in MasterCAM programming and 5-axis CNC machines. The role involves developing new and modifying existing CNC programs, designing new fixtures, and creating detailed set-up sheets.

Responsibilities

  • Program CNC machines using MasterCAM.
  • Perform CNC machine setups as required.
  • Maintain and improve the current CNC program portfolio.
  • Develop CNC programs for new and existing work, including those not utilizing CNC finishing.
  • Reduce CNC downtime and post CNC touch-up requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to prescribed safety procedures.
  • Train production personnel and communicate effectively with operators, leads, supervisors, and managers.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in programming computer numerical control machines.
  • Proficiency in MasterCam programming.
  • Working knowledge of 'G' code.
  • Set-up experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • CMM programming experience is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with employees and management at all levels.
  • Capability to train other employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
