Join Amazon’s Communications and Corporate Responsibility (CCR) technology team. We own product and technology efforts across the CCR org, ranging from helping quantify the impact of our global comms efforts, to building the company’s primary communications websites. We’re looking for highly motivated people to build the future of how Amazon’s comms teams work.
If you’re data savvy and are looking for a role that lets you flex your product and program management skills, this role is perfect. Equally, if you’re a product or program manager who wants to spend more time working on data-specific initiatives, this is the role for you. This is a new role, and the right candidate will get to define what success looks like while being supported by established tech and comms teams.
The person in this role will work across data, program, and product management functions. A typical day might include querying and analyzing data, helping manage technical dependencies across multiple vendors and internal teams, and working with non-technical stakeholders to strategize how technology can accomplish communications needs. This individual will partner with comms managers, software development engineers, and product managers to define and execute the best ways to collaborate. This person will maintain and develop self-service resources, such as dashboards and queries, for business leaders and stakeholders to help measure their efforts and inform future work.
The ideal candidate knows and loves working with business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, Qualtrics, Tableau, Quicksight), and can partner with business leaders to deep-dive into data in order to solve complex business problems. We are seeking a highly curious, passionate, and data-driven individual who can optimize performance and solve problems for stakeholders.
This role demands a motivated self-starter who’s able—and wants to—operate in a fast-paced organization. Success in this role requires the ability to break down complex challenges into actionable solutions, anticipate risks, and deliver results on schedule. The ideal candidate possesses an in-depth reporting and data background in order to help unlock insights around communications performance and impact across programs, strategies, and datasets. You should be comfortable operating within and presenting recommendations to a leadership audience.
