International Technology is the team responsible for the technology behind Amazon International Expansion. We focus on creating global innovation based on local needs. We are dedicated to delivering new and improving existing customer experiences for our global customers. We work backwards from customers to understand their needs and frustrations, then build and experiment with innovative features and automated solutions on both desktop and mobile platforms.

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager (Tech) to envision, lead, and drive our product division focused on ML-based applications and Agentic AI solutions.

As a Principal PMT in our organization, you will be responsible for the following:

• Lead and own the complete lifecycle of AI-driven products, including development of 3Y strategic vision, roadmaps, and execution.
• Drive product strategy and create value propositions that resonate with customers, engaging with Sr. Leaders (VP-level) from organizations across Amazon.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to align technology and business strategies, influence roadmap priorities, and build consensus impacted teams.
• Have strong technical influence by partnering with engineering teams to resolve architecture challenges and ensure scalable products and best development practices
• Balance and prioritize competing demands across multiple organizations and technical constraints.
• Demonstrate strong judgment in risk assessment and innovation in the AI context.
• Excel at selling new ideas across organizations, promoting the value proposition of products, and creating awareness for solid adoption.
• Be involved in hiring the best engineering and product management talent for our organization.

The ideal candidate for this role will be customer-obsessed with the capability to dive in and learn new technologies quickly, and who is comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience with end to end product delivery

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with machine learning technologies, large language models, or AI frameworks
• Understanding of AI/ML development lifecycle, including model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
