Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer

Job Description

As a Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer, you will lead the quality assurance function across the organization and projects. You will be responsible for developing requirement validation strategies, creating test plans and test cases for multiple client-facing projects. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help deliver the best user experiences through both automated and manual testing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the QA function, driving test plan strategy, planning, and execution across projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and enhance client experiences.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Establish and maintain testing frameworks to support software development lifecycles.

Essential Skills

  • Strong understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and modern development workflows, such as CI/CD.
  • 5 years of work experience in quality assurance.
  • Experience in the Training & Simulation or Gaming industries, with a preference for Gaming industry.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with VR, AR, or XR technologies.
  • Experience with various headsets such as Meta Quest, HTC Vive, Magic Leap, and Apple Vision Pro.
  • Experience in a high autonomy startup environment, showcasing adaptability and discipline.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation in immersive experiences and a drive to constantly push creative boundaries.
  • Proficiency in Unreal is a huge plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
