EPM Analyst, Budget Analysis and Planning - UT System Administration

The EPM Analyst is primarily responsible for maintenance and development of UT’s budget and planning system, UT Plan. The EPM Analyst also supports colleagues in UT’s Office of Budget, Planning and Analysis with financial analysis and reporting.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and applicable experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Additional skills, experiences, and qualifications include:

Knowledge of:

  • Financial management systems and software.
  • Analytical methods related to financial decision making and forecasting.
  • Public sector finance and budget development.

Ability to:

  • Rigorously maintain financial system functionality, access, and integrity.
  • Analyze data and create comprehensive reports.
  • Organize and disseminate information clearly.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant experience, training, and certifications are preferred but not required. Examples include experience or training in:

  • Higher education and/or public sector finance.
  • Financial planning systems such as Oracle EPM.
  • Data analysis supporting complex financial or operational decisions

Benefits and Compensation

Compensation for the position is budgeted $60,000 to $70,000.
