Veterinary Client Service Representative - Emergency

Day/Swing, Full - Time

Shift times and days TBD, 10 hour shifts

La Mesa, California

Experience & Skills Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of veterinary clinical/hospital experience required
  • Veterinary Emergency or Urgent Care experience highly preferred
  • Ability to work on weekend day
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EzyVet Experience preferred

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients
  • With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow
  • Greet clients and their pets with prompt professionalism and courtesy
  • Answer multi-phone line, providing friendly, informative client service over the phone
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and present financial estimates to clients
  • Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems
  • Enter/update client information into the practice management system
  • Accurately process payments and discuss payment options with clients
  • Maintain all aspects of workplace organization and cleanliness
  • Fax/E-mail information to clients and primary veterinarian medical staff
  • Facilitate obtaining medical records from primary veterinarians
  • Obtain client signatures on corresponding legal forms
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management team

Serving La Mesa, El Cajon, Spring Valley, and San Diego.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $18-$22/ hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
