Job Description:

Enfinity is looking for a Solar business development manager that will be responsible for originate, structuring and managing partnerships, JV and asset acquisitions aimed at developing renewable energy projects finding and evaluating new suitable locations for PV solar installations, mapping and approaching with relevant stakeholders including grid companies, negotiating and concluding land agreements with landowners, advisors and consultants to follow the relevant permits applications, liaising with public agencies (municipalities, provinces and regions) to coordinate the filing and the development to the permitting process also in coordination with other departments such as legal and engineering, organizing and analyzing data rooms, tracking projects status, reporting to management being able to evaluate risks and provide advise and mitigation plan development, etc., on time, within budget, and in compliance with all technical, commercial, safety regulatory, and environmental requirements to meet or exceed company’s expectations. The candidate will work within the business development department, support in new business through lead generation, and contribute to other project teams as needed. This opportunity has a strong project management component and candidates will be managing several small and large projects opportunities simultaneously in cooperation with other members of the teams based in Spain, Portugal and Italy. The candidate should also be able to resolve conflicts, communicate effectively with clients, be comfortable working in a small group environment, and willing to put in extra effort to coordinate activities across global time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originating, negotiating and managing JV and co-development agreements with local partners;
  • Identifying and analyzing PV project sites and development process to obtain the relevant authorizations;
  • Overall project management and business development support;
  • Write and review project reports and proposals;
  • Consistently communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner;
  • Site visits and inspection of Solar PV plants and related agencies;
  • coordinate with technical team and understanding technical feedback;
  • Interfacing with clients to discuss results and risk mitigation.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of greenfield development dynamics;
  • Knowledgeable of the environmental and permitting regulation and planning;
  • work experience as developer in solar PV or Wind industry;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to write technical reports in English;
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented, critical reviews of technical documentation;
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision;
  • Experience of developing proposals for work, including budgets and scopes of work;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Experience in using MS package including MS project;
  • Strong interest in renewable energy: solar and wind onshore/offshore;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects at the same time;
  • Flexibility, interdisciplinary teamwork skills and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Mid junior level with appetite for working in an international company atmosphere and ambition to develop skills, experiences, competences and career.
