About the Role: We are looking for an IT Client Support - Audio Visual Specialist to join our Client Support Analyst team. In this role, you will support the region's meeting place technologies by utilizing creative, flexible and strong communication skills and the ability to interact with coworkers and clients, often under deadline pressure. In addition to being proficient with network and computer hardware and software, we are looking for someone passionate about working for a world-class manufacturer, and recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.

This role will be located at our facility in Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot meeting place audio visual systems and determine root cause throughout plants in the region and support large meeting events live with a focus on customer service (Crestron Toolbox, Teams Certified room systems and Tesira Biamp software)
  • Create and update documentation of meeting place systems
  • Inventory backup and spare hardware components
  • Termination of RS232 for audio visual control of system
  • Mount (hang) flat panel displays & projectors and their mounts; install audio systems (8 ohms and 70 volt speaker and amplification systems)
  • Manage RMA's for broken warranty equipment with manufacturers
  • Train team members and fellow associates on meeting place technologies
  • Prioritize service level tickets in a timely manner so SLA's are met; including transport, assemble, maintain and repair equipment used in meeting places
  • Coordinate external audio-visual integrator service calls when external support; including the coordination of vendor partner deliverables
  • Perform other Audio-Visual related installation support tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in audio visual technology (or related field) and a minimum 2 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting meeting place technologies in a higher education or corporate environment or minimum 5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting meeting place technologies in a higher education or corporate environment
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting Web and Video Conferencing and Polycom video conferencing, Biamp Audio systems, and Crestron control systems (or similar systems)
  • Working knowledge of Networks and VLANS and 8 ohms and 70-volt speaker and amplification systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office 365
  • Comfortable working with other trades on projects
  • Excellent listening and organizational skills
  • Ability to think and work independently to meet necessary deadlines by solving problems using analytical skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 70lbs and work within a variety of conditions, some of which may be in small or confined locations such as under or inside meeting room tables
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Desired Qualifications:

  • CTS certification(s)
  • A+ and Network+ certification(s)
  • Crestron and Tesira programing certifications
