Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist with wargaming experience to join our Advanced Analytics Lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computational modeling, data analytics, machine learning, and experience with wargaming simulation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement machine learning models for anomaly detection and predictive analytics
  • Design and optimize data pipelines for large-scale data processing
  • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI
  • Contribute to the development of AI-driven automation solutions
  • Lead wargaming simulation efforts for mission planning and scenario analysis
  • Configure and analyze complex simulation environments for tactical decision support
  • Assist in the development and improvement of wargaming tools and methodologies
  • Collaborate on projects involving natural language processing and LLMs
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for complex problems

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computational Modeling, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience in libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn
  • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and containerization (e.g., Docker)
  • Familiarity with wargaming simulation tools and methodologies
  • Experience in configuring simulation environments and analyzing outputs

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with high-performance computing and GPU acceleration (CUDA, OpenMP)
  • Knowledge of Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query)
  • Familiarity with government contracting processes and security protocols
  • Experience with natural language processing and large language models
  • Advanced knowledge of military tactics and strategy

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $63653 - $108210

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
