PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $120,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Purpose Of The Role
This role will be working as part of the Production Management Team in BBC Studios, Los Angeles, supporting series productions and assisting the Development Department.
Key Responsibilities and Impact
DEVELOPMENT/PREPRODUCTION
- Research locations, stages, unique elements pertaining directly to specific production needs.
- Create/adjust Production Schedules & Calendars.
- Assist in budget creation by researching travel, housing, & transportation costs, researching facilities, gathering local information, and other necessary information for production.
- Hire crew & initiate payments (crew & editor outreach, rate negotiation, start paperwork, timecard processing, deal memos, tax documents W-4, W-9, I-9. Familiarity with EP Smart Start a plus.
- Accounts Payable: Liaise with development and legal department to manage and execute vendor agreements. Obtain W9 & banking details.
PRODUCTION
- Onboard/induction of freelance employees to BBC rules, regulations, & operations.
- Distribution of Production Manual to Freelance Production Staff.
- Work with Human Resources to help facilitate freelance training.
- Update and distribute BBC Contact List to Productions.
- Update and distribute Preferred Vendor Lists to Productions.
- Update and distribute Distribution List to Production.
- Set up Box folders for Production and monitor.
- Set up FedEx, Staples, Frame io, ProCal, Synchronize, AdobeSign, DocuSign, & Zoom accounts for productions.
- Assist in billing, shipping, coding, outstanding invoicing and closing accounts.
- Work with BBC IT to create email accounts for Freelancers.
- Oversee production’s gathering of show materials for deliverables.
- Liaise between Productions and other BBC Departments, such as Finance, Legal & Business Affairs etc.
BBC OFFICE
- Track and manage BBC Studios materials such as series master hard drives, series deliverables & supplies, set/prop storage, and BBC owned gear.
- Assist in office run-thrus, meetings or productions.
Your Skills and Experience
- Production experience: Office, Field, & Stage.
- Experience with non-scripted genres (e.g. Game, Competition, Docu-Follow, Variety, Documentary).
- Experience or knowledge of Show Deliverables.
- Experience with Production documents (e.g. Call Sheets, Production Reports, Risk Assessments, etc.).
- Experience with production logistics, equipment, crew positions.
- Postproduction knowledge.
- Experience or knowledge of POs, Invoice coding & processing.
- Personable & confident when speaking with Show Runners, Network Executives, Agents and Talent.
- Software Skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook, Movie Magic Budgeting, Avid, Frame.io, Synchronize or Box and DocuSign.
