As an Andare Food Runner, your base position, you will be responsible primarily for assisting the Andare Server in serving the guest. Service includes any setup/breakdown of Andare buffets, clearing/cleaning tables, delivering food to the guests and any additional items they may need, and ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for the guest. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast paced position with continual customer contact. As well, this position offers the opportunity to be scheduled as an Andare Restaurant Host, where you will greet and welcome Andare guests, assist with reservations and inquiries, seating guests, and supporting the Andare service team.
The hourly rate range for this position when working as a Host is $26.25/hour to $26.78/hour. The starting rate for this position is $26.25/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in this position for four years or more with Hyatt, which is currently offered $26.78. When working in a secondary position, as a Food Runner, this position earns $20.76/hour.
When scheduled as a Food Runner, this position earns additional compensation from gratuities and tips given at the guest’s discretion to the Andare serving team, as well as service charges on applicable orders.
