Summary
As an In-Room Dining Server, you will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by delivering food and beverage orders directly to guest rooms with efficiency, warmth, and attention to detail. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to anticipate and meet guest needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present guest food and beverage orders accurately, promptly, and to temperature
- Deliver orders in accordance with Hyatt service standards, ensuring complete and attractive presentation
- Retrieve trays and room service items in a timely and discreet manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of in-room dining areas, including pantries and service equipment
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Engage in casual, friendly conversation to enhance the guest experience
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Perform side work, restocking, and other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry trays and equipment up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Previous food & beverage or hospitality experience preferred
