Role Overview

Sodexo Corporate Services has an exciting new opportunity in Manhattan, as the General Manager; you will play an integral role in the successful execution of two key offerings: Daily Dining and Pantry. In this role, you will be accountable for executing client project plans, lead a team and collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve service standards ensuring the seamless delivery of the Daily Dining and Pantry offerings. The ideal candidate is an organized and effective leader with a passion for hospitality and affinity for operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee and manage all onsite Daily Dining operations, including documentation, SOPs, staffing, equipment, and activations
  • Provide hands-on operational support to our client, by successfully executing each client’s contracted agreement
  • Assist with the development of account business plans to enhance customer service, facility layout and design, account profitability, retention, and client and customer satisfaction
  • Manage onsite Pantry operations
  • Craft staff schedules for direct reports, ensuring efficient operation
  • Continuously refine operational procedures to elevate standards and ensure flawless performance

What You Bring

  • Experience with re-therm kitchen operation
  • Strong understanding of high-end clients
  • Proven ability to lead and manage both front-of-house and back-of-house teams with demonstrated success in training, mentoring, and developing a diverse, high-performing staff
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting and cost management
  • Creative and innovative mindset focused on driving revenue growth and optimizing costs
  • Proficient in utilizing food management systems and operational tools to streamline processes

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
