Job Title: Junior Data Analyst

Location: Toronto | Job Type: Full-Time | Experience: 6 months – 1 year

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team in the advertising industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data handling and a curiosity for uncovering insights that drive business decisions. While prior experience in advertising is a plus, it’s not required — we welcome candidates from diverse industry backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from various sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Support campaign performance analysis and regular reporting tasks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand data needs and deliver insights.
• Help maintain documentation for data processes and definitions.

Required Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience working with data in any industry.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or any data querying language.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to marketing or advertising data (e.g., campaign metrics, media performance).
• Understanding of digital media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, DSPs).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
