???? About the Role
Novant Health is seeking a dynamic Clinic Administrator to oversee and coordinate all functions and activities related to the operations of a large Cardiology physician practice. This practice management position involves managing a minimal to moderate scope of providers, staff, and potential revenue, with the possibility of practices in two or more locations.
???? Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all functions and activities related to the operations this High Volume practice.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Manage budgeting, staffing, payroll, and purchasing processes.
- Implement competency, feedback, development, and progressive discipline processes.
- Foster team building, conflict management, and interpersonal relationships.
- Apply safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- Utilize information systems and software effectively.
- Understand customer needs and expectations to exceed them.
???? Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; or Associate's degree with four years of relevant professional experience; or eight years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience: Five years of leadership experience with two-plus years of practice manager experience, required.
- Skills: Strong understanding of current and future trends/practice in the area of responsibility; regulatory and governing standards, policies, and procedures; information systems and software used in the area of responsibility; equipment used in performing assigned duties; application of safety and infection control policies and procedures; skills in interviewing and selection process; understanding of budgeting, staffing, payroll, and purchasing processes; implementation of competency, feedback, development, and progressive discipline processes; team building, conflict management, and interpersonal relationship skills; principles of adult learning and teaching methods/models; decision making, project leadership and consultation, delegation and communication skills; understanding of customer needs and expectations and knowledge for improvement to exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications
- Education: Must meet one of the following: Four year Bachelor's degree; or Associate's degree with four years of relevant professional experience; or eight years of relevant professional experience, required.
- Experience: Five years of leadership experience with two-plus years of practice manager experience, required.
- Additional Skills (required): Knowledge of health care administration and clinic philosophy and policies and operating procedures. Knowledge of fiscal management systems and techniques. Knowledge of human resource management practices including supervision and staff development. Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, decision making. Demonstrates strong leadership skills and develops and maintains skill in organizing work to achieve clinic goals and objectives. Ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports. Ability to monitor quality control standards. Ability to communicate clearly.
