As the Business Development Manager for OreBody Solutions at Epiroc Southern Cone, you will drive new exploration business aligned with Epiroc Southern Cone´s strategic goals. In a rapidly exploration landscape, you will regularly and proactively build and nurture relationships with both existing and prospective customers. Your ability to inspire and motivate, combined with a lively and engaging communication style, will be essential in securing buy-in and achieving results. You will need to adapt swiftly to changing goals, balancing initiative and strategic thinking with a collaborative approach.

Achieving success in this role demands strong skills in exploration products, coupled with effective delegation to meet targets with efficiency and accuracy.

As the Business Development Manager for OreBody Solutions at Epiroc Southern Cone, your mission is to drive the growth and profitability of Epiroc’s exploration portfolio. You will contribute to achieving market share and revenue targets while seamlessly integrating exploration market into our unified “One Epiroc” sales strategy. By championing our exploration vision and strategy, you will ensure alignment with our broader goals, fostering brand loyalty and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Share & Revenue: Achieve market share and revenue growth targets for OreBody Solutions.
  • Customer Engagement: Proactively build and maintain relationships with both existing and prospective clients, focusing on long-term partnerships.
  • Market Expansion: Explore new opportunities within the exploration landscape, aligning with Epiroc Southern Cone’s exploration strategy.
  • Competitor Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends and competitors, using insights to refine strategies and offerings.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Cross-departmental Collaboration: Ensure alignment across departments to meet organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mining, mechanical, technology, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • Experience: 5-10 years in sales, particularly in exploration, mining, construction.
  • Skills:
    • Highly proficient in MS Office products, especially Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
    • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation communication skills with a strong customer focus are required
    • Dual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
    • Proven leadership skills with a focus on motivating and developing others.
    • Strong strategic and tactical thinking, with a demonstrated ability to implement and manage initiatives.
    • Adaptability, openness to feedback, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
    • Comfortable with taking calculated risks and exploring new ideas.
    • Ability to build and leverage relationships to inspire and engage commitment.
