Electromechanic / Instrumentation Tech (Full Time) - Montreal, QC

The person will be mainly responsible for the maintenance (instrumentation / electricity) as well as the proper functioning of several automated plants located across Quebec and Ontario. He or she must be autonomous, resourceful, and rigorous to manage projects related to equipment and processes. He or she will be required to travel outside, to the sites of the various factories, about 50% of her time. The position also requires periodic on-call availability.

Main tasks:

  • Plan and perform the required maintenance on equipment (Instrumentation, electrical, minor mechanical).
  • Instrumentation-electrical tasks:
  • Maintenance of control systems: sensors and analyzers
  • Maintenance of PLCs.
  • Mechanical tasks:
  • Maintenance of control valves and actuators.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of industrial production equipment.
  • Travel about 50% of your time.
  • Travel time can be Monday to Friday

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Professional Diploma – Electromechanics, Instrumentation or equivalent.
  • C license (an asset);
  • Language (French mandatory, English spoken and written functional)
  • Experience in automated control
  • Experience in industrial equipment maintenance: electrical instrumentation with basic mechanical skills.
  • Be available to be on call on a rotational basis.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Have a valid driver's license.
