The temporary, part-time Risk Management Specialist will support various functions of the Risk Management division, gaining hands-on experience in insurance administration, claims management, actuarial reporting, and data analysis.
The Risk Management Division is at the forefront of protecting City resources, supporting operations and enabling resilient service delivery. We identify, assess, and manage risks that could impact the effective operation of the City programs and services. Our team works collaboratively across departments to ensure decisions are informed, and operations are secure, while maintaining transparency to the community.
Education and Experience:
Associate Degree in business administration or directly related field and two years of legal or claims processing experience
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
