We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Manager Sales Development with enterprise experience to lead and mentor our team (Business Development Representatives) in the DACH region.

In this role, you will be responsible for coaching, training, and developing a high-performing BDR team, helping them sharpen their outbound prospecting skills, particularly on phone calls, to drive pipeline growth and generate new business opportunities.

As a bilingual leader (German & English), you will ensure alignment with regional sales strategies, improve outreach efficiency, and drive excellence in prospect engagement. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to optimize lead generation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Mentor, and develop a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs), helping them improve outreach, objection handling, and qualification skills.
  • Coach team members on phone calls, providing live feedback and role-playing exercises to improve their confidence and conversion rates.
  • Develop structured training programs focused on outbound prospecting techniques, messaging strategies, and sales best practices.
  • Provide regular performance reviews, constructive feedback, and career development guidance to help team members grow.

Pipeline & Sales Development

  • Drive pipeline growth by ensuring the team effectively qualifies inbound leads and executes outbound prospecting campaigns via phone, email, and social media.
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership & Account Executives to align on pipeline goals and improve conversion rates.
  • Utilize AI-driven tools and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism, Lusha and more) to scale targeted prospecting efforts.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics using Salesforce CRM, ensuring data accuracy and transparency.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Partner with Marketing to optimize demand generation efforts and improve lead quality.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement to refine BDR scripts, messaging, and training resources.
  • Continuously analyze and optimize BDR workflows, leveraging technology and data insights to drive efficiency.
  • Act as a bridge between the BDR team and senior sales leadership, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

Who You Are

  • You are a problem solver
  • Fluent in German & English (written and spoken) – essential for engaging with DACH region prospects and leading a diverse team.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a BDR or SDR team within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong experience in Enterprise outbound sales development, cold calling, and lead qualification.
  • Exceptional coaching and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
  • A strategic thinker who can align BDR efforts with broader company goals and drive process improvements.
  • Comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other sales engagement tools.

  • Experience selling to enterprise clients in the DACH region.
  • Experience leveraging AI and automation to improve outbound sales prospecting.
