The Job You Will Perform:

  • Everyone at IP is responsible for the day-to-day safe operations throughout the plant. The Die Coordinator position is ideal for someone who enjoys learning new things, working in different areas, and getting their hands dirty!
  • DRO is to assist as assigned through the facility, as well as understands basic principles of corrugated, flutes, corrugation direction, and can identify various substrates.
  • Must follow all safety rules and procedures; watch out for self and team member’s safety at all times. Always follow lock out and tag out, MSK, and always use personal protective equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toed shoes & safety vest, others as required). Must understand and carry out housekeeping standards.
  • Must demonstrate teamwork and resolve issues effectively and professionally. Must be capable of running machine at safe speeds and top quality to meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement
  • Must be able to read a standard tape measure, take a mechanical aptitude assessment, read and thoroughly understand job specifications, and follow written and oral directions.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to operate from directions or independently as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to add and subtract all units of measure read and copy figures, and count and record figures.
  • A comprehension level is required to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in English in written or oral form and to deal with problems.
  • Standing, walking, sitting, and reaching at or below shoulder level; frequent twisting, bending, and lifting from the ground safely are all required; repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds potential for mechanical work.
  • Must be willing and able to work daily and weekly overtime, including weekends, as business conditions require. All other duties as assigned.
  • This position is responsible for backing up the 1st shift supervisor as needed.

  • Participate in training sessions to insure the Maintenance Department is current on new technologies
  • Must have strong ability to trouble shoot electrical issues
  • Should have an outstanding working knowledge for trouble-shooting mechanical problems
  • Demonstrates proper LOTO, MSK, anilox LOTT, PPE and all safety policies and has the willingness and knowledge to intervene when a co-worker does not use safety policies correctly.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm for all work orders/jobs. Always eager to get the machines up and running.
