About the opportunity
We’re looking for a driven, passionate, and forward-thinking Product Marketing Lead to own the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for Dayforce Payroll.
As a strategic, results-driven marketer, you are just as comfortable debating roadmap direction with Product teams as you are creating persona-based messaging and empowering Sales. You thrive on going deep—understanding how Payroll products work, where the market is heading (especially in the era of AI), and how Dayforce can reduce complexity for customers.
You’ll lead the go-to-market motion for new Payroll products, partnering across Product, Sales, Enablement, and broader Marketing to ensure alignment, clarity, and velocity. In this highly visible role, you will shape the narrative for both internal and external audiences, translating insight into impact.
What you’ll get to do
- Market Strategy: Sense and assess payroll market trends; develop and evolve segment strategies based on market dynamics and customer data.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Stay current on analysts, influencers, and competitor movements to inform positioning and sales/marketing strategies.
- Messaging & Positioning: Own the development of differentiated Payroll messaging, pitch decks, and value props that resonate across customer types and geographies—ensuring alignment across web, sales, and demand channels.
- Buyer Insights: Gather persona-level insights from both internal and external sources and translate them into clear guidance for sales and marketing audiences.
- Product Launches: Drive launch readiness by defining value messaging, pricing strategy, positioning, and enablement for new products, features, and enhancements—partnering cross-functionally with Product, Enablement, and Sales
- Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with compelling narratives, pitch decks, leave-behinds, FAQs, and training that equip them to confidently speak to Dayforce Payroll solutions.
- Customer Base Growth: Analyze customer install base to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Translate insights into actionable programs and campaigns.
Skills and experience we value
- 12+ years of progressive experience in B2B SaaS, including at least 5 years in product marketing, outbound product management, or advisory roles.
- Deep knowledge of payroll, workforce management, or HCM solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate strategically with Product on roadmap, packaging, and GTM.
- Strong storytelling skills in both written and verbal formats.
- Executive presence with the ability to influence across multiple levels of an organization.
- Experience crafting demo scripts and narratives that drive engagement and clearly show product value.
- High learning agility and a strong grasp of technology concepts, with the ability to translate product capabilities into business benefits.
- Passion for how AI is reshaping HCM and the future of work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Analytical mindset; comfortable working with data to drive insights and strategy.
- Able to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment with competing priorities.
- Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally as needed.
