The role of Application Administrator sits within the Customer Management Value Stream in the Centre of Excellence within SP Energy Networks. In this role, you will provide support for our Salesforce solutions; you will have a requirement to respond to a wide range of enquiries on an ongoing basis, ensuring all aspects of customer service are met in order to provide a comprehensive high-quality data and business support service for our solutions.

What you'll be doing

In addition to being the 1st line support function for internal and external customers, responding to and resolving incidents raised in ITNow across various system applications in line with current SLA's, you will also maximise Customer Experience through development and implementation of process documentation ensuring they are kept fully updated with any changes.

You will also be instrumental in the IT roadmap and will be a key player in our Salesforce projects to deliver testing, training and communications while taking ownership of associated issues that arise.

Be aware of outstanding actions through regular meetings with your fellow administrators and prepare results for discussion within meetings to enable full vision of scorecard and departmental KPI's to the wider business.

Working as a team to deliver the CoE Business Plan as a whole, you will have a positive approach to self-development and accommodate training to grow your technical knowledge.

What you'll bring

We are looking for an initiative-taker and someone with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ability to prioritise workload whilst also dealing with urgent matters in a timely manner are key.

You will also possess the following:

  • Awareness of Energy Networks policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge of Business Systems
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Interest in developing your technical skills
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce platform and our solutions would be advantageous

Minimum Criteria:

  • Excellent IT skills (including MS Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/Excel)
  • Previous experience of using SAP PM
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change (business change/system change/process change)
