Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Delivery Lead with deep expertise in Databricks to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of data-driven projects by leading cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and delivering high-impact solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in Databricks, coupled with proven leadership and project management capabilities.

As a Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle—from initial planning and stakeholder engagement to execution, delivery, and post-implementation support. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, translate them into actionable strategies, and ensure that solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your ability to drive collaboration, manage risks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement will be key to your success in this role.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Leading the delivery of projects.
• Overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle from planning to execution and delivery.
• Providing technical guidance and support to the project team ensuring best practices are followed.
• Collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
• Ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Monitoring project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.
• Facilitating effective communication between stakeholders including clients team members and management.
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Providing training and mentorship to junior team members to build their skills and capabilities.
• Fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment to achieve project goals.

To be successful in this position your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Possess extensive experience in Databricks.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills with a focus on delivery excellence.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
• Show proficiency in risk management and problem-solving.
• Display a deep understanding of industrial Insurance processes (nice to have).
