We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator /Relief HGV Driver to join our team in our Sudbury Timber Engineering Branch.

You'll be working in our newly formed Timber Engineering manufacturing facility in Sudbury, manufacturing roof trusses, posi joist, spandrel and gable panels.

We are seeking motivated, energetic individuals to join our growing production team. You will need the ability to be able to work well as part of a team in manufacturing of engineered timber products but also the ability to work on your own initiative. The sucessful candidate will need to be a good communicator who is approachable, positive and polite. Basic numeracy and literacy skills will be required for this role.

Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Fabricator/Relief HGV with Huws Gray:

• Working as part of a team as well as on your own to manufacture our engineered timber products
• Using the latest industry technology such as automated presses and laser systems
• Having a good attention to detail in order to read dimensionised drawings and work to accurate measurements.
• Making deliveries in branch vehicles as and when required

We know that you are more than just a CV and embracing everyone’s individuality is what makes us great as a team. We can give you plenty of training and equip you with the tools that you’ll need to succeed as a Truss, Joist & Panel Fabricator, however previous woodworking experience would be an advantage for this role. You will also need a Class 2 licence for this role.
