Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will join an administrative team that flexes between multi-dimensional tasks ranging from customer service to file management, form, and report preparation.
Every day, you will greet and direct customers, as well as answer and route phone calls. You'll complete data entry and conduct data verification including but not limited to, client demographics and insurance information. You'll prepare office forms and reports, as well as maintain office records and library materials. You'll be responsible for both incoming and outgoing mail. You will be maintaining schedules for staff as well as conference room schedules. You will provide agency support with special projects and other duties as assigned.
To be considered for this position, you are required to have a high school diploma (or GED) plus three years’ experience in appropriate functions; OR an associate degree with emphasis in business, office related functions or customer service plus one year of experience; OR a bachelor's degree in a business-related field may substitute for required work experience.
Demonstrated experience in office support, customer service, or additional related education is preferred.

Location: This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be in office.
