About the Role

As a Manager, Sales Excellence you will support cross-functional teams to adhere to the Global Pursuit process, resulting in quality outcomes aligned with HARMAN Automotive business targets.

What You Will Do

  • Train and lead teams on Harman standards for automotive pursuits. This includes the following:
  • Ensuring pursuit-level documentation is complete, accurate, properly maintained, and controlled
  • Working with teams in pre-reviews to ensure preparation for approval meetings
  • Supporting teams for the creation and execution of pursuit schedules
  • As necessary, escalate risks and roadblocks to appropriate management levels.
  • Be a resource for process-related questions, provide guidance, and communicate any relevant information to the cross-functional teams.
  • Manage milestone workflows in Salesforce including confirming relevant pursuit documentation is attached and approvals are following GAR guidelines.
  • Monitor Salesforce and coordinate with CAM to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Identify and lead Sales Excellence initiatives to enable the organization to achieve both short term and long-term goals and objectives.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Global Pursuit teams.
  • Understand HARMAN Automotive product offerings and future technology roadmaps.

What you Need

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, preferably in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration
  • At least 10 years of experience in customer product development and delivery
  • Leadership skills and able to work in a global matrixed organization and able to present to all levels of the organization.
  • Financial acumen and in-depth automotive business understanding

What nice to Have

  • Sales in automotive or related industries
  • Master’s Degree, or equivalent, in Engineering or Business
  • Technical knowledge of Automotive Electronics
