Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technical program management.
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams.
  • Experience in consumer electronics in program management role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with wearable technologies (e.g., smartwatches, hybrid watches, fitness tracker, ear wear, etc).
  • Ability to work closely with engineering partners and technical proficiency.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and technically manage various Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Infrastructure Development Projects.
  • Track development progress, identify and resolve issues, and report results to stakeholders, ensuring test coverage and quality meet defined standards.
  • Define clear objectives, acceptance criteria, and success metrics. Prioritize test efforts based on risk assessment and product requirements.
  • Develop strategy and methodologies for optimization and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive issue resolution by collaborating with relevant teams and ensuring timely fixes and Roles and Responsibilities alignment.
