WSJ. Magazine and The Wall Street Journal’s Style section are seeking a dynamic and experienced Platform Editor to lead all things social media: shaping, amplifying and growing WSJ. Magazine’s identity holistically across platforms.
The ideal candidate is a self-starting storyteller with a talent for concepting and creating memorable, shareable and lively content. They will be responsible for the soup-to-nuts oversight of all our social channels, working closely with our design, editorial and video teams to ensure our work is reaching new and existing audiences in fresh ways and formats. They will thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, and be ready to push a strong brand forward with infectious energy and enthusiasm.
WSJ. Magazine sets the bar in defining luxury style, providing best-in-class fashion editorial and muscular feature journalism to an affluent global readership. The ideal candidate will be able to tap into that audience: brimming with ideas for new social ventures and excited about honing a tonal and visual identity, one consistent with the strong reporting, sharp wit and good taste that the Style News and WSJ. Magazine teams offer. They will also be comfortable hosting on camera, and distilling reporting into digestible bites for potential new audiences.
This is a full-time position based in our New York office and reporting to the Platforms Director of WSJ. Magazine.

Pay Range: $105,000 - $125,000
