Job Summary

Supports the development, configuration, and maintenance of the nCino Bank Operating System on the Salesforce platform to increase user adoption and engagement, improve sales performance, support credit administration functions, enable efficient Bank operations and speed the Bank’s digital transformation. Show a passion for well-crafted solutions, while proposing technical options and alternatives for successful enhancements and improvements, assessing the impact of changes across the platform, ensuring adherence to best practices, evaluating the fit of third-party tools to current and future configurations, and influencing new ways of working that drive improvements. Assists junior staff members and works with Salesforce Administrators to ensure scalable, efficient, and optimized solutions. Works closely with customers, management, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. Ensures solutions are aligned with business and Information Technology strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Works closely with team members on the daily execution of deliverables and assists less experienced team members as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute and/or lead design and development around nCino specific functionality and perform detailed product configurations.
  • Collaborate with LOB Product Owner(s) and SME(s) in finalizing requirements and product fitments as per nCino Gold Standard best practices and minimize customizations.
  • Works on multiple, moderately complex, enterprise-wide projects requiring technical expertise. Participates in systems and data analysis, design, development, integration, and enhancement activities, as well as related maintenance and production support.
  • Participate in discussions around sprint and backlog prioritization from a technical perspective.
  • Provide and mentor Subject Matter Expertise in technical product setup and functional/ architectural processes.
  • Assists in the development of project scope and serves as a project point of contact when necessary. Participates in project-planning sessions with customers, business analysts, and team members to analyze requirements and provide nCino configuration and design recommendations.
  • Conducts unit tests ensuring systems meet the needs of customer and line-of-business based on technical documentation. Provides ongoing maintenance of web applications and/or client/server applications or tools, depending upon previous involvement with projects.
  • Manages unresolved production support issues across multiple areas of expertise. Provides design recommendations, develops application and custom integration solutions, including major enhancements and interfaces.
  • Makes modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with technical specifications and division standards. Reviews efforts to ensure compliance to application standards.
  • Hands-on training and experienced to manage: Duplication Management, Mobile & E-Mail Management, Bank Interfaces, Apex Triggers & Classes, Flow, Updates, New Release Management and Org Migration, Custom Visualforce Page Development, SIT, Regression & Performance Testing, and Management & Monitoring of Scheduled Jobs.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring product catalog, product package, entities involvement, exposure, collateral management, covenants etc.
  • Follows documented and approved Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and makes recommendations toward the development of reusable routines or components, including object-oriented base class reuse.
  • Translates business and technical requirements into cross-functional business application systems, providing custom integration solutions, including major system enhancements. Collaborates with team members in setting development guidelines.
  • Provides application support as needed during regular and after hours.
  • Remains informed and proficient regarding applicable industry technical innovations, trends, standards and new developments. Maintains current skills and remains knowledgeable regarding new tools and computer languages as applicable.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Experience:

  • Five years of related experience including data design and project management, using multiple programing languages, and using and managing metadata

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of data modeling and designing databases
  • Solid understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC), software best practices and development methodologies
  • Strong technologist with excellent data analysis and ETL skills
  • Knowledge of various databases such as MySQL and Oracle
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as C# and VB.Net
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and Governance
  • Knowledge of System DBA
  • Understanding of multiple programming languages, systems, as well as data design and project management methodologies.
  • Strong architecture, design, and development skills
  • Understanding of building data warehouses for analytical and business intelligence solutions
  • Understanding of business solutions that the data warehouse serves
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Skill in developing and organizing high-quality documentation
  • Skill and flexibility managing multiple projects with large volumes of data in a rapidly changing environment
  • Skill troubleshooting issues in a multi-tier environment
  • Skill working with both business team members and technologists
  • Leadership skills with an emphasis on teamwork

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Proactive understanding of nCino platform and current on recent release functionality.
  • Hands-on training and experienced to manage: Duplication Management, Mobile & E-Mail Management, Bank Interfaces, Apex Triggers & Classes, Flow, Updates, New Release Management & Org Migration, Custom Visualforce Page Development, SIT, Regression & Performance Testing, and Management & Monitoring of Scheduled Jobs.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring product catalog, product package, entities involvement, exposure, collateral management, covenants etc.
  • Understand business and technical requirements and map them to nCino/SFDC functionality.
  • Expert understanding of Salesforce.com platform
  • Expert understanding of the Salesforce Data Security/Sharing Model
  • Expert understanding of the different Salesforce APIs and their specific usage
