Overview:
This is a provisional appointment.
Under general supervision, the Police Clerk & Typist will be assigned to District A-7.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Typing reports, letters, memorandums, and other correspondence.
- Data entry.
- Answering telephone inquiries.
- Giving information to the public over the phone and in person.
- Maintaining files and records.
- Addressing and mailing correspondence.
- Performing related work as required.
Minimum Entrance Qualifications:
- Applicants must have at least two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid professional experience in administrative office work.
- It is strongly preferred that all applicants have proficiency with Microsoft applications and Google Suite.
- Must be able to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
- Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.

A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST IS REQUIRED
