About the role:
You will oversee the employees and ensure day to day management of assigned unit for all work activities and will support our Solid Waste Division's Vision for Our Culture. The operations section of the Solid Waste Division operates a solid waste transfer and disposal system for residents and businesses in King County (except for Seattle), which includes eight Transfer Stations, two drop box facilities, and a 920-acre active landfill. A Supervisor II position may be assigned to one or more of the following work units: Landfill Gas Unit, Landfill Operations Unit, Maintenance Shop Unit, Transfer Station Unit, Transportation Unit and Wastewater Unit.
