Hourly range from 37.44 to 56.59, depending on level of experience.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This position will be within the Maintenance Department and is responsible for monitoring, calibrating, troubleshooting and repairing plant instrumentation in addition to associated administrative tasks.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Perform maintenance and calibration services associated with electric generation in support of plant operations.
  • Provide technical support to plant operations, maintenance staff and engineering.
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams on major projects.
  • Perform tuning, calibrations and troubleshooting of all process control systems.
  • Adheres to the conduct of maintenance and established maintenance standards and practices.
  • Perform configuration and programming on PLC, DCS and microprocessor-based controllers and data loggers.
  • Ability to interpret prints and document any changes or discrepancies.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned in accordance with Article 5.12 of the CBA

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree in Power Plant Technology, Engineering Technology, or Electronics OR
  • HS Diploma with minimum of 18 months of trade or technical training in Power Plant Technology
  • Successfully complete the training requirements and time in job requirements for the position including previously passing the TECH test
  • Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle
  • Available for overtime as required in accordance with Article 5.8 of the CBA
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in a power plant environment that includes climbing and walking long distances
  • Qualified Clearance and Tagging Holder
  • Ability to plan I&C maintenance work as needed
