The Technical Account Manager in our Technology Advisory space, acts as the technical advisor embedded within the Customer Success team. This role supports onboarding, QBRs, technical strategy planning, and project scoping. The Technical Account Manager ensures the client’s technical environment aligns with business goals and service delivery is proactively optimized.

Essential Functions & Primary Duties

  • Serve as a technical consultant for strategic clients
  • Participate in QBRs, roadmap discussions, and renewal planning
  • Collaborate with engineering and projects teams to scope initiatives
  • Conduct environment audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks
  • Assist in onboarding design, documentation, and validation
  • Track and report on platform performance, usage, and infrastructure alignment
  • Contribute to internal knowledgebase and lifecycle playbooks

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–7+ years in a technical client-facing role (consultant, TAM, systems engineer)
  • Experience in an MSP or IT services environment required
  • Proficient in systems, networking, Microsoft 365/Azure, cybersecurity fundamentals
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding of managed services SLAs, compliance, and support models

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise, must have and preserve required licenses
  • Must possess analytical skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
