The opportunity:

  • We are seeking a technically skilled Payroll Consultant to join our Risk Consulting team. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in payroll systems configuration and compliance and systems testing. Experience with payroll system implementation and HRIS systems is also preferable.
  • You will work closely with clients to assess, remediate, and enhance payroll systems—ensuring they are compliant, efficient, and aligned with best practices.
  • This is not a payroll processing role, but one focused on system integrity and compliance.

Day to day you will:

  • Lead and support payroll compliance and system remediation projects across a variety of sectors.
  • Apply your knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS platforms to develop tailored, practical solutions.
  • Conduct system testing and data analysis to identify compliance gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated advisory services.
  • Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development through client engagement, proposal development, and thought leadership.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 4+ years of proven experience in payroll compliance, systems remediation, or payroll technology, preferably from a consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of commonly used payroll platforms and their configuration.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strategic problem-solving mindset with the ability to take a holistic view of client challenges.
  • A collaborative and flexible attitude with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
