Job Overview: The role of the Lead Research Analyst is to facilitate and manages the accurate and efficient collection and reporting of data. The Lead Research Analyst designs, modifies, and trains OPI staff on data collection models and data collection requirements. This position designs data quality assurance and control procedures, interprets rule, law, and data specification to update business rules and procedures. The Lead Research Analyst is required to coordinate research and data collection projects with various other state agencies, federal agencies, and other states department of education.
