The opportunity:

We have an opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the team and to support building reliable, scalable systems and driving innovation in technology operations. Within this role you will build and maintain the Dynatrace SRE Platform based on requirements provided by Technology and the AIAA business. You will also be responsible for educating technology teams on the use of Site Reliability Engineering platforms.

To do this successfully you will:

• Build, optimise and maintain the Dynatrace SRE Platform
• Mentor and educate software and service management teams in SRE
• practices to drive best practice and innovation in Site Reliability
• Engineering
• Work across both business and technology to introduce and promote
• SRE practices and toolsets to increase adoption and effect cultural
• change
• Identify and following through on opportunities for cost reduction and /
• or delivering efficiency
• Assist in the cost management of technology and network services
• from nominated partners

Successful applications will demonstrate:

• Strong experience with Dynatrace
• Proven experience in application monitoring and Site Reliability Engineering concepts
• Experience with the following cloud technologies (or equivalents of): Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Datawarehouse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Blobs, Azure Express Route, Azure VNet, ARM, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps, AKV
• Experience with DevSecOps toolsets, platforms and concepts, e.g.: CI/CD, Containerisation, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Prisma
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in communicating new
• ideas and leading through change.
• Experience communication with and mentoring at all levels in an
• organisation from developers to senior managers.
• Experience with the following technologies desirable: Enterprise Java (J2EE, Oracle Weblogic, Spring, SpringBoot, Maven), IMDG (Redis), REST APIs, ServiceNow
• Experience with frontend technologies desirable: ReactJS, ReactNative, HTML5, AngularJS
• Degree qualified in computer science or related field and certification in Azure desirable
