The Scope

Since forming as a unified security organisation in 2014, we have grown to a circa £600m business today. We have strong plans and ambition to grow to £1bn before 2030. Our goal is to make BT the standout company within the security space across SMB, Corporate and Public sector customers.

The key purpose of this pivotal role as part of the wider Cyber Threat Management team is to lead BT Security’s Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) Products and Services to support BT Security’s revenue growth ambitions. This role will shape and drive the implementation of BT’s SIEM Products and Services with a customer driven view of technical and commercial product capability.

SIEM Solutions | Cloud & Managed SIEM Services is a solution that helps organizations detect, analyse, and respond to security threats before they harm business operations.

What you’ll be doing

• Producing a SIEM Product Plan that includes pricing strategy, Feature and Service Roadmap and Investment cases for KTLO and New Developments.
• Delivering and communicating the SIEM product roadmap effectively to establish market credibility & stimulate sales.
• Working closely with sales teams to support bids, develop training, and craft integrated SIEM solutions for UK customers.
• Working with BT Propositions, Marketing, and Sales teams to build and deploy a compelling SIEM Security GTM Value Proposition across all UK Channels.
• Building and maintaining strategic relationships with leading SIEM brands within Security e.g. Microsoft, Palo Alto, Splunk and others to stay aligned with their evolving security roadmap, as well as their Go to Market and Sales Initiatives.

Experience needed to be successful in the role

• An understanding of the SIEM and Cyber Security Market & how this differs across business channels.
• Previous experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to market launch. This involves idea generation and then development through to market launch using agile methodologies.
• Previous experience of creating business cases to secure funding and then managing the process through to product launch.
• Proven track record of delivering growth across a diverse portfolio of customer segments such as SMB, CPS and Global.
• Proven track record in rapidly converting supplier roadmap changes into viable enhancements to BT’s Security Products & Services.
• Extensive experience of engaging and influencing a wide variety of stakeholders both externally (Customers) and internally at the highest level (C suite/Director Level).
