Transcription Certification Manager

The general duties as a Transcription Certification Manager for U.S. Legal Support are to review, make changes and certify California transcripts that are given from our transcriber team. The Transcription Certification Manager will quality check the final transcript to assure it has met department requirements and then certify it.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Work through SPOT to pull completed California transcripts
  • Review and quality check all California transcripts and certify them
  • Provide feedback to transcribers to help improve processes.
  • Perform additional job functions as assigned by leadership.

SKILLS:

  • QC and certify several transcripts per day. At this time, this will be 350 to 400 pages per day, but this is subject to change according to the bandwidth of the CSR.
  • Communicate between transcribers and other managers when there are significate errors in transcripts.
  • Communicate between managers to determine bandwidth and number of transcripts that can be reviewed and certified each day.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a California CSR (Court Certified Reporter)
  • Excellent communication skills. (Verbal and written)
  • High level attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office, ability to manage downloads in different formats.
  • Securely transfer files.
  • Strong sense of professionalism and discretion required

CERTIFICATIONS:

Must be a current California CSR. (Court Certified Reporter)
