Who You’ll Work With:

We are seeking a Nashville based Business Analyst to join our Client Infrastructure Services team in Global Technology & Operations.

In this role as a Business Analyst, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with a variety of teams across the firm to understand business needs and identify how technology can meet those needs through the design and implementation of efficient processes and tools. The BA will work with Business Sponsors and Stakeholders to understand the business problem we are solving for and the intended outcome. They will strategize on the approach, collaborate on requirements definition and partner with our Development and Quality Assurance teams to architect and implement a solution.

What You’ll Do:

• Working across multiple stakeholders to gather and define requirements and collaborate with development teams on design and implementation
• Conducting meetings, gathering critical information, and producing organized, detail-oriented meeting notes, documentation, and requirements
• Structuring ambiguous business problems and recommending concrete solutions using process design and supporting technologies
• Aligning with Product Owners to outline dependencies and risk for project work
• Identifying cross team dependencies or opportunities to refine and determine value
• Performing in-depth requirement analysis
• Communicating the results of your efforts in a clear and concise manner
• Collaborating with development teams on interface design and implementation
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Performing user acceptance testing
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of business analyst experience
• Experience working in an agile environment leveraging agile methodologies
• Understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a scrum team
• Experience working on digital applications (desktop and/or mobile formats) and a demonstrated understanding of user experience and functionality preferred
• Understanding of the financial services industry, including market knowledge across equities, fixed income, multi-asset, and/or alternative strategies is a plus
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Strong and concise communication skills (written, oral, and presentation)
• Ability to structure ambiguous business problems and partner with IT to recommend technology solutions
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent documentation skills, including ability to visually represent complex process flows
• Skilled in building and managing relationships with key stakeholders and business partners
• Client focused with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
• Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively independently and within a team
• Extremely detail-oriented and deadline driven with proven ability to multi-task across projects
• Ability to write User Stories with testable acceptance criteria that drive business value from a user perspective
• Propensity to learn new areas of the business, processes, and applications quickly
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience using Jira and Confluence (or similar systems) for agile project management and documentation preferred
• Experience using Artificial Intelligence to augment the business analyst function is a plus
