HR & Workforce Management Assistant, Temporary Position

JOB PURPOSE:

The HR and Workforce Management Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Workforce Management departments. This role assists with a variety of tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee data management, scheduling, payroll processing, and timekeeping updates. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Seasonal Onboarding &, Recruitment Administration

  • Create seasonal job requisition and own the screening and interview process for selected seasonal candidates.
  • Be the first candidate touchpoint for seasonal hires. Coordinate interview cadence and salon booking in partnership with Landmark Concierge.
  • Complete seasonal background checks from offer acceptance through end of seasonal assignment.
  • Offboard all candidates and process their termination in Oracle.
  • Partner with Landmark recruiters and HRBPs with candidate communication.
  • Communicate with Landmark Leadership when new hire is cleared to confirm start dates and update New Hire Tracker.
  • Communicate start date with HRIS.
  • Communication with Employee Services.
  • Work in Oracle on employee profile information (confirming re hire eligibility, sensitive data, etc.).
  • Support store employees with any issues related to Oracle/ Hire Right/ IT/ Hiring regarding seasonal employees.
  • Support keeping I9s compliant (emailing when overdue) for all seasonal hires.
  • Ensure all applicable recruitment trackers are maintained.
  • Support with Landmark Hiring events when applicable.
  • Support with Landmark seasonal onboarding events and rollout.

Workforce Management for Seasonal Employees

  • Create, manage, and communicate schedules for seasonal hires.
  • Process payroll for seasonal employees.
  • Add seasonal employees to the Daily Plan.
  • Maintain accurate attendance tracking for seasonal employees.
  • Provide attendance updates to management for seasonal employees.
  • Consistently update employee list with relevant information.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of administration experience, preferably in Retail HR
  • Proven success in delivering exceptional candidate experience.
  • Prior retail experience
  • Strong customer-service orientation, ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and desire to deliver end to end solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Hourly Rate Range: $26.61-30.99
