Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of our browser extensions for SecurePass, our password manager product. Quality Assurance is a critical part of our development lifecycle, and we highly value professionals who are passionate about testing, automation, and continuous improvement. You’ll be part of a dynamic, collaborative team working on security-focused technology used by thousands of users every day.

Requirements:

We’re looking for a well-organized, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about technology and browser-based products.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer for web platforms or browser extensions in an Agile development environment
• Strong QA skills: bug isolation and reporting, root cause analysis, and a solid understanding of testing concepts and methodologies
• Experience testing modern web applications and browser extensions
• Familiarity with browser extension ecosystems (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari)
• 1+ years’ experience in test automation
• Experience with browser-based end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer)
• Experience in automating functional and integration testing for web platforms
• Proficiency in any programming/scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, Python)
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced Agile environment with shifting priorities

It will be a plus:

• ISTQB Foundation or other QA certifications
• Experience testing security-sensitive applications (e.g., password managers, secure communication tools)
• Familiarity with browser-specific debugging and profiling tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools)

Job Responsibilities:

You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, usability, and security of our SecurePass browser extensions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, maintaining, documenting, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Performing functional, UI/UX, regression, and compatibility testing across major browsers
• Reporting, tracking, and verifying issues in the bug tracking system
• Conducting root-cause analysis and working closely with developers to resolve issues
• Designing, implementing, and running automated test suites for browser extensions
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and infrastructure
• Participating in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies as an active member of the development team

You will work in an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, UX designers, and other QA engineers.
