Duties

What to Expect

  • Serves as the branch manager of vending and micro market services with annual sales volume of more than $10M with an expectation to grow revenue and profits.
  • Drives the implementation of local initiatives and strategy by motivating and supporting branch supervisors and managers to develop action plans that meet operational objectives. Reports to the Director of Services.
  • Plans, identifies, communicates and delegates key responsibilities to the branch supervisors and managers to ensure efficient operations within the vending and micro market services branch.
  • Works with third party vendors to establish value pricing through tactical negotiations and the creation and execution of direct delivery contracts.
  • Develop Scope of Work and store layouts for the construction of new Micro Markets.
  • Prepares financial plans, budgets, reviews of inventories, cost controls and related records and reports.
  • Either directly or indirectly through subordinate supervisors and managers, manages employees to include assigning and distrusting work, scheduling, coaching, counseling, mentoring, approving and disapproving leave, recommending and completing personnel actions, completing performance reviews, approving time, and training employees.
  • This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in business management or a related field with THREE YEARS of experience that demonstrates strong operational background and demonstrated ability to supervise, lead and direct a large diverse workforce within vending, retail or food distribution industry,
  • OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates knowledge of the position and skill equivalent to that gained above.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to manage, plan, coordinate, and attain goals and financial objectives of a large business operation.
  • Must possess a thorough working knowledge of business practices, economic principles and ability to analyze trends/developments and make improvements in operating a large business operation through innovative marketing, personnel management and retailing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
