Your responsibilities

Responsible for providing direct support of the company’s Quality and Production teams.

Individual Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Create Inspection plans in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely creation of certifications and certificates of compliance per customer requirements.
  • Develop and Implement quality process controls and assure product quality systems are strictly adhered to (SPC / Capability Analysis / FMEA Quality Plans etc.).
  • Utilize and maintain quality programs (Control of Non-conforming Material / MRB / Calibration) including providing support for problem solving and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Write CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS CMM software-for use by CMM operators to inspect dimensional characteristics on production and prototype product. Create set-up instructions, proving out the program and verification of its accuracy when discrepancies arise.
  • Responsible for PPAP, FAI, FAT, cFAT and any other part qualifying processes as required for gaining production part approvals for new/existing customers and/or products.
  • Perform in-depth part layout using CMMs as well as all other layout techniques; this includes documenting and reporting of results. Coordinate and execute capability studies, and measurement system analysis; this includes gage R&R (repeatability and reproducibility) studies.
  • Maintain gage calibration system.
  • Participate in the internal audit team.
  • Participate and/or Lead corrective actions on internal or external issues.
  • Additional duties assigned as determined by the department manager. This will include production Engineering tasks as assigned.
