Program Manager

Position Description

Designs, implements and manages an assigned program. Typical duties can include but are not limited to: Identify funding opportunities, conduct program assessments, prepare program reports, oversee and manage program marketing and communications, manage program databases, supervise program staff, plan research activities, coordinate program events, participate in strategic planning, manage program files, establish program standards and objectives, direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs, develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met, oversee program budget, ensure goals and objectives of grants are met, assists in proposal writing, comply and analyze program statistics.

Major/Essential Functions

Implementation of Tech Thrive (Quality Enhancement Plan): Primarily responsible for Tech Thrive

roll-out and implementation under the guidance of the QEP co-directors.

Collaboration with Campus Partners: Work alongside Student Counseling Services, the Student

Health Center, University Recreation and other campus stakeholders to promote student well-being.

Campus Engagement: Represent Tech Thrive at campus events focused on student well-being and

mental health literacy, as well as Red Raider Orientation.

Data Collection & Analysis: Monitor and evaluate data on student well-being, engagement, and

program effectiveness, including but not limited to participation in TechThrive initiatives, analysis of

various well-being instruments, and utilization of well-being support services.

Budgeting & Purchasing Support: Assist with budgeting and purchasing for TechThrive projects and

initiatives, such as supporting procurement processes and tracking expenses.

Technology Support: Update/modify existing TechThrive website regularly. Work with various social

media platforms to design and promote student well-being messaging.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance, including hiring processes for student

workers.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Provide supervision for student workers, including graduate students, in

various projects for TechThrive.
